Too many cookies

The other night Noah was doing his homework...he had to find and correct mistakes in several sentences. He came to one that read "dont you have no cookys"...he giggled and said they spelled cookies wrong. He corrected the sentence to read "Don't you have no cookies", boy did he pick himself up some real good English while we were living in L.A.(lower Alabama)! I told him it should actually read "Do you have any cookies?", well his teacher marked that wrong and said it should read "Don't you have any cookies?" I still think the proper way to ask the question is my way "Do you" rather than "Don't you", any English, grammar experts out there please help me out with this one.

To answer the cookie question...we have way too many cookies! The girls scouts hit both Shane and I up to order, we both did with out realizing the other one had...so 10 boxes of girl scout cookies showed up to our door this week! My favorite are Thin Mints, frozen...what is your favorite?

Noah gets baptized

On January 9, 2010 Noah Everett Mendenhall was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. What a very special day for Noah, his dad baptized, confirmed him and gave him the gift of the Holy Ghost.

It GREAT to be 8!

Happy 8th Birthday Noah! January 4th 2010, my baby turned eight! Noah had a football snickers ice cream cake, yummy! You can see that he had lots of fun unwrapping a present from his grandma and grandpa, it was wrapped 5 times...a sweet green i-pod shuffle! He also got some gift cards, a very cool CTR soccer ball tie tack, a baptism memory book, a green scripture tote with a new Bible and Book of Mormon, jelly beans and to top it all off a Nintendo DS.
Noah has lots to look forward to this week, being baptized and going to cub scouts!

Over the River and Through the Woods...

to grandmother's house we go! We went on a road trip to see Shane's parents for Thanksgiving who live in beautiful Cache Valley, UT. The trip was 16 hours each way and we were only able to stay a couple days, but it was so nice to see family. Thank you Clair and Linda for a very yummy, relaxing turkey day!

The custome's...Owen is a warewolf, his neck and face are a little itchy from all that fur. Andrew is a 70's/8o's basketball player-lots of people asked if he was the guy from the Semi-Pro movie, we haven't seen that movie, but I guess we need to. Noah is Harry Potter...doesn't he look just like him!
